The company was formed in 1975 by David Hughes who has had a long association with the catering industry, he was joined in 1980 by Derek his son and together they designed the first Bold peeler machine in 1981. The company today is still run as a family business and from day one has been totally committed to the fish frying, take away and catering industry.
